UCLA School of Nursing ranked #9 in undergraduate nursing by U.S. News & World Report
The UCLA School of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is #9 in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges Rankings.
“These rankings are a reflection of the transformational work taking place across our school every day by dedicated students, faculty and staff,” said Dr. Lin Zhan, Dean & Professor of the UCLA School of Nursing. “Bruins have a tremendous legacy of excellence in nursing and healthcare, and I am proud that we can continue this commitment to improve the health of our communities.”
The university’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is a traditional, undergraduate program designed to prepare freshman and transfer students for a career in professional nursing practice.
UCLA Nursing tied for the #9 spot with four other renowned universities, including Boston College, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and Case Western Reserve University.
U.S. News & World Report's undergraduate rankings are based on the judgments of deans and senior faculty members of nursing schools and departments at institutions around the country who participated in a peer assessment survey.
