Rain or shine, nursing’s Doctoral Friendsgiving provides an opportunity for connection

Despite the rare southern California storm, an incredible number of students, alumni, and faculty gathered for an unforgettable second annual Doctoral Friendsgiving celebration. 

The reception began with introductions from Dr. Nancy Jo Bush and Dr. Wendie Robbins who both expressed their happiness and excitement to see so many attendees come together. Their words set the tone for an evening filled with warmth, laughter, and a true sense of community.

DNPs and PhDs enjoyed speed mentoring sessions, which sparked meaningful conversations and engagement, while the lively bingo games brought plenty of smiles and friendly competition. The atmosphere was charged with good energy, making it a night of gratitude, connections, and fun. Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to make this event so special.
