On Friday, April 14 the UCLA School of Nursing hosted its Inaugural Community and Career Fair at the UCLA James West Alumni Center. The event attracted over 35 organizations, institutions, health care systems, and UCLA student organizations.
With over 120 participants involved (including UCLA nursing students, and nursing students from various local schools, undergraduate, graduate, and high school students) the goal behind this program is to expand access to diverse career opportunities in greater Los Angeles and Ventura County. The program also included information sessions about the UCLA School of Nursing academic programs.
