Dr. Emma Cuenca selected for prestigious nurse leader fellowship
UCLA School of Nursing Associate Adjunct Professor Emma Cuenca, DNP, RN, CCRN, CSC, CNS, is one of just 50 nurse leaders from across the country selected to participate in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing (ELAN) Program.
This highly competitive program is designed for aspiring deans and senior faculty members working in leadership roles within academic nursing. As Director of UCLA Nursing’s prelicensure programs, Dr. Cuenca helps shape the experience for new nurses at UCLA and fosters a culture of excellence in nursing education and practice.
Through the ELAN program, Dr. Cuenca will engage in intensive training that aims to enhance her leadership skills, strategic thinking, and overall impact in the academic nursing community.
