The 2023 Commencement stage

The UCLA School of Nursing will present diplomas to more than 200 graduates at the 2024 Commencement Ceremony.

Along with remarks from several School of Nursing leaders, including Dean Lin Zhan, students and guests will also be treated to a keynote address from UCLA Health President Johnese Spisso.

Spisso is a nationally recognized academic healthcare leader with 40 years of experience in health care, and oversees all aspects of UCLA’s hospitals and clinics, the Faculty Practice Group and leads the health system’s regional outreach strategy. She also oversees UCLA Health’s community partnerships to collaboratively improve equitable access to healthcare and is deeply engaged in the Los Angeles and greater Southern California community.

2024 UCLA Nursing graduates represent nearly every facet of the nursing profession. From pre-licensed bachelor’s and master’s students just beginning their healthcare careers, to advanced practice nurses taking their next steps, and doctorally-prepared nurses leading the way in healthcare and research. Congratulations to all of this year’s incredible graduates.
