Yuriko Matsuo, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APRN is a 3rd year Ph.D. student at the UCLA School of Nursing and a psych-mental health nurse practitioner.  She has experience working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in a crisis service for the underserved pediatric population.  Her research interests lie in the adulthood of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers, with a special focus on Down syndrome, in their aging, mental health, and quality of life.
