Nicole Bood, BSN, MS, MBA-HA, RN, is a PhD nursing student focused on making a significant impact in nursing science, research, and practice to improve the care of all patients, focusing on the older adult population. Nicole has over 10 years of experience in long-term care and has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including acute, primary, and community care. Nicole is a scholar who aspires to use her expertise to become a nurse scientist who advances research and academia by discovering new knowledge for a deeper understanding to reduce gaps in research and practice, optimizing outcomes for diverse aging populations and the healthcare professionals who serve them.
