Megan Guardiano, MS, RN, PHN, graduated from the UCLA School of Nursing BS program in 2015. Since then, she has been working as a clinical RN at Valley Presbyterian Hospital, previously in Labor and Delivery and currently in GI Lab. She started the PhD Program in Fall 2021 and obtained the en-route academic MS here in 2023.

Ms. Guardiano is a trainee with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing Program of the Southern California Education and Research Center (SCERC). For 2023-2024, she was awarded the Linda Burnes Bolton Emerging Leader Award and the Sigma Theta Tau International Gamma Tau At-Large Chapter Research Project Grant. Her dissertation will be on work stress and cognitive function among workers in the United States.
