Leanne Bautista, RN, BSN, MPH, is a cardiac-specialized telemetry nurse pursuing a PhD in nursing to participate in generating knowledge to advance the field of nursing and improve quality of life for patients globally.
Starting research at the CSULB Center for Global Health, she developed a background in working with national-level datasets, with the goal of identifying gaps in health care and disease outcomes among groups in lower middle income countries.
Through research, Leanne aims to draw connections between social and physiological factors under a humanistic lens, as well as to test the effectiveness of interventions to improve quality of care across health settings.
