Jessica Phillips, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, (PhD-c) is the Manager of Nursing Professional Development at the CENTER for Nursing Excellence, UCLA Health and a PhD candidate at the UCLA School of Nursing.  She provides direction and oversight of the health system educational infrastructure that develops, implements, evaluates, and revises programs of nursing professional development based on assessed needs and organization strategy.  Jessica has published and or presented on a variety of professional development topics, such as; transition to practice (newly licensed, leadership), teaching/learning methodologies, simulation, virtual reality, evidence-based practice, educational neuroscience, competency, professional governance, and wellness/healthy workplace environments.
