Charlotte Bryant, BSN, RN, is a graduate of the BSN program and a current Ph.D. student at the UCLA School of Nursing, where her research focuses on prehospital medicine and emergency medical services (EMS). With a clinical background in emergency, trauma, and critical care nursing, she has worked in high-acuity settings, including a Level I Trauma Center, STEMI, and stroke-rated teaching hospital. Her hands-on experience in both the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit has shaped her commitment to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency care systems.
Charlotte also serves as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA. She is passionate about integrating evidence-based practice into emergency care and mentoring the next generation of nurses. Through her work in both academia and clinical settings, she aims to bridge the gap between EMS, emergency departments, and critical care units, ultimately advancing policies and protocols that improve interdisciplinary communication practices and enhance patient survival, recovery, and continuity of care.
