Ariel Hale, MSN, RN, is a board-certified pediatric nurse, mother, and committed advocate for equitable care and supportive workplace environments. She has a strong curiosity about improving workplace experiences for African American nurses and a passion for research centered on health equity and workforce well-being. She is also a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where she actively participates in service and philanthropy. Additionally, she is a speaker and a member of the What’s Your Cause (WYC) Tour, an organization dedicated to empowering women through confidence, education, and community engagement. Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, she enjoys reading, traveling, mentoring students, and exploring creative outlets that foster self-care and connection. Her compassion and commitment guide her both inside and outside the healthcare field.

Research Interests:

Her research interests focus on health equity, occupational stress, and the psychosocial experiences of African American nurses. She explores how racism, discrimination, and loneliness affect mental health, job satisfaction, and workforce retention. Her aim is to develop evidence-based strategies that promote inclusivity, resilience, and fair outcomes in nursing practice and education.
