Associate Vice Chancellor, UCLA Health Sciences

Johnese Spisso was recruited to the position of President of UCLA Health, CEO of UCLA Hospital System and Associate Vice Chancellor of UCLA Health Sciences in 2016. She is a nationally recognized academic healthcare leader with 40 years of experience in health care, and oversees all aspects of UCLA’s hospitals and clinics, the Faculty Practice Group and leads the health system’s regional outreach strategy. Spisso also oversees UCLA Health’s community partnerships to collaboratively improve equitable access to healthcare and she is deeply engaged in the Los Angeles and greater Southern California community.
