UCLA Joe C. Wen School of Nursing Assistant Professor Anthony Tolentino, PhD, RN, NI-BC, FAMIA, has been selected as a Data Fellow in the NIH All of Us University of Arizona–Banner Health Data Fellows Program. This highly competitive national program supports early-career researchers using one of the largest and most diverse biomedical datasets in the United States.

The All of Us Research Program, an initiative of the National Institutes of Health, aims to accelerate precision medicine by enabling researchers to study how genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors influence health outcomes across populations. As a Data Fellow, Tolentino will receive advanced training, mentored research support, and professional development while conducting research using the All of Us Researcher Workbench, a digital platform that provides access to genomic, clinical, and social determinants of health data.

Tolentino’s project received a top-ranking following review by the program’s Advisory Council. The fellowship is administered by the University of Arizona and Banner Health, whose All of Us Data Fellows Program is designed to train graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and junior faculty to lead cutting-edge, data-driven biomedical research.
