2026 Blue & Gold Ceremonies welcome pre-licensure students to healthcare

The UCLA Joe C. Wen School of Nursing held its 2026 Blue & Gold Ceremonies, also known as pinning, a tradition that signifies a student’s completion of their entry level nursing education and their advancement toward a healthcare profession.
More than 60 Bachelor of Science in Nursing students and nearly 70 Master of Science in Nursing (MECN) students received their nursing pins at the annual event. Students were joined by their families and friends to celebrate this momentous occasion just days before their commencement ceremony at Royce Hall.
