General Description of the Basic Overview of CBPR

Mon., July 16, 2012 (1-day only)

 

Institute participants interested in the Basic Overview of CBPR will learn strategies to facilitate the planning of health promotion and related research programs in collaboration with the communities they intend to serve.

What will I learn?  

  • Strategies for establishing a culturally sensitive community partnership
  • Approaches for planning of health promotion and related research programs
  • Conducting community needs assessments
  • Determining mutual interests and setting mutual goals
  • Community participation and partnership examples

What will it cost?

  • Registration Fees: Basic Overview (1-day only - July 16, 2012)
    $150 U.S. (General); $125 (UC/CS Affiliation)
  • Parking not included: Campus parking available for $11/day; instructions will be mailed prior to the Institute.
